Stafford on 21/1 had: 1970’s d/s wooden station platform destination board 'Motor Rail Services to Fishguard for Ireland via Rosslare - Maidenhead, Slough and all stations to Paddington' black lettering on a white background, ex-Reading General, 97x15cm £50, dr poster 'B & I Line Dublin Liverpool' British & Irish Steam Packet Co Ltd. good rolled condition £ns, dr poster 'Ireland by CIE' by Curran good rolled condition £150.
TRA on 11/2 had: a miniature steel staff ('C' configuration). 'Lismore-Ballyduff' £320, GSWR, oval cast iron wagon plate 'GSWR 7164 Inchicore Works' unrestored 32x17cm £ns, GSR 3 aspect handlamp, top stamped 'G.S.R.' as is the original vessel, complete with burner, reflector and all glasses, restored, door sliding catch is missing £100, miniature steel staff ('B' configuration) 'Ballyduff-Fermoy' £280.
SRA on 10/3 had: Irish railway standard Harpers wooden cases block instrument with glazed front showing 'Down Line' and 'Up Line' with semaphore signals pivoted from central brass post showing the state of the line, below the display is a glazed aperture showing 'Train on line', 'All clear' and 'Train off but section blocked' which are moved round by the brass knob below, at the base is a brass plunger, the instrument is labelled by the maker 'WR Sykes' and comes complete with a key to lock the front opening case. 27x14cm base, 55cm high in good unrestored condition, origin unknown £850, Cast iron cabside numberplate: 'Dundalk Newry & Greenore Railway 4 Crewe Works 1876' from the 0-6-0ST No. 4 named 'NEWRY' one of two built at Crewe in 1876 to the design of LNWR Chief Mechanical Engineer, John Ramsbottom, to work the extension of the line to Newry. The sixth and final locomotive was added in 1898, the locomotives were consecutively numbered, in order of building, from 1 to 6 and all carried names. During WW2 three of the remaining five locomotives were loaned to the LMS-NCC for shunting duties around York Road, Belfast, but were returned due to not being satisfactory for the NCC's needs, the line closed on 31 December 1951 but by this time only one loco was serviceable. 'NEWRY' was scrapped by Hammond Lane Foundry, Sutton, Co. Dublin. An LNWR style plate, 73x30cm with rounded ends, in ex-loco condition both sides, with a hairline crack visible at the right hand end through the bolt hole £1900, BR(M) dr poster: Londonderry-Travel there in comfort by sea and train (Kerry Lee) 1953, folded, edge tears, good otherwise, £100, GNRI ground signal lamp having two red bullseye lenses, with red and white signals one fixed in the 'stop' position, the other fixed in the 'proceed' position. In working order, the signal swivelled through 90° to change aspect, miniature tell-tale clear lens at rear, lifting reducing cone and copper topped chimney with the initials 'GNRI' stamped thereon, no innards, in good, ex-lineside condition £100, LMS-NCC Silverplate grape scissors manufactured by Elkington, 18cm long the initials 'LMS-NCC' are clearly incised into one of the handles, vgc £ns, GSR Original gold leaf coat of arms professionally mounted on a board 42x44cm vgc £30, LMS-NCC china chamber pot by Dunn Bennet & Co., Burslem, 23cm diameter rim, 13cm high, pot with the company title in full in a belted garter surrounding part of the company coat of arms, and the words 'Northern Counties Committee' below it glazed in light blue into the side, vgc £280, BCDR standard type 'Adlake' lamp with clear bullseye lens, unusual in that it has a small brass label on the back with the initials 'BCDR', these lamps were rarely marked in such a way, 17x39cm in original condition £20, Irish railway copper 3-sided station lamp with two glazed sides, one side opening, the back plain metal and provision for wall fixing, overall dimensions: 38cm wide, 47cm high, glazing 29x33cm, no innards, no railway identification, nor place name, good ex-station condition £55, brass single line tablet: 'Limavady-Limavady Junc 25', square type in good ex-section condition £180.

The GCR main auction on 14/4 had: a GNRI signal box diagram, Fintona Junction, from the Enniskillen to Derry route, which includes the platform used by the horse-drawn tram that operated the Fintona branch, 114x48cm, rolled, drawn by the Signal Superintendent's Office, Dublin, 1945, with a 1953 note lower right that the down distant is now slotted to Racrane Crossing £380, GSWR dr poster promoting the Liverpool Overhead Railway to visitors travelling to England, featuring views and vignettes of the line, rolled £240, CVR coa transfer, 27x29cm, mounted on a maroon board, overall 33x38cm £100, an LMSNCC solid silver cigarette case, marked with the year 1933 and the owner's initials, G.W., 8x8cm, curved to fit a jacket pocket £360, locomotive headboard, 'The Shamrock', as carried on the Euston to Liverpool (Lime Street) service which operated in conjunction with sailings from Liverpool to Dublin and Belfast, inaugural titled run was on 14 June 1954 and its last on 16 April 1966, the front paintwork has been lightly cleaned, the back is untouched and marked '8F' £1500, A Webb and Thompson large staff, Ballyhaise-Belturbet £500, A Webb and Thompson large staff, Beleek-Castlecaldwell £460.
Talisman in its auction of 513 lots on 5/5 has nothing Irish but it still has the, unsold at its February auction, GSWR 7164 Inchicore Works plate now offered at £170.

GWRA on 19/5 has: Lot 173 poster Fishguard-Cork 'Direct Service: The Innisfallen way, British & Irish Steam Packet Co. Ltd' by Derrick Moody dr, view of the Innisfallen ship lit by moonlight surrounded by a Shamrock, exc. condition, Lot 250 Locomotive nameplate LYDIA, ex West Donegal Railway (later CDRJC) Class '1' 2-4-0 Locomotive built by Sharp Stewart in 1882. Measures 81x15cm and has both letters and rim brass riveted to a steel backplate, top rim is clearly stamped 'No 3', original 1960 receipt accompanies, to Patrick Mallon (who was Erecting Shop Superintendant at the GNRI workshops in Dundalk) for 21 shillings, Lot 251 brass loco whistle ex West Donegal Railway Class 1 locomotive, believed to be from No 3 Lydia, just over 33cm in length and having a barrel diameter of 4cm, the original 1960 receipt accompanies, made out to Patrick Mallon for £1, Lot 359 poster, 'The Antrim Coast Road-Ireland for Holidays', by Norman Wilkinson, LMS dr size, image of a hiker and local sat beside a rock out crop, bottom border has been trimmed by approximately one inch, folds and slight edge crinkling otherwise vgc, Lot 362 poster, 'M.V. Princess Victoria - new motor car ferry service Stranraer to Larne LMS - accommodation for 80 cars (driven on and off and 1500 passengers)', by Norman Wilkinson, LMS dr size, top half depicts a vibrant image of the ship in full flow, printed in Britain by Jordison London, folds and very minor edge crinkling otherwise exc., Lot 363 poster, 'Ireland Glengarriff - Heron Island, Glengarriff, Co Cork', by G H Bland, Great Southern Railways (Ireland) dr, image across the water to the hills in the distance, printed in Ireland by Hely's Ltd, Lithographers, Dublin, folds with one 4" tear of the top, minor edge tears and crinkling otherwise god.
