Solent on 27 February had a GNRI handlamp £115 and a CIE General Motors loco handbook £20.

SRA on 13 March had: GNRI untitled double sided cast iron notice 'Caution before crossing look out for trains both ways' on one side 'Notice penalty for omission to shut and fasten gate forty shillings' rectangular with curved corners, 38x20cm the fixing holes in the four corners making it difficult for both sides to be visible at the same time. However, one side appears to be more rusted away than the other, so one side could have been against a wall, £220, BR(W) qr poster 'Fishguard-Rosslare' (John S Smith), artwork of the main docks at Fishguard as a ferry awaits departure,issued in 1960, rolled, excellent condition. £420, Headboard: 'The Ulster Express' produced by BR in the 1950s and carried by the Euston-Heysham express train connecting with the overnight sailing from Heysham to Belfast. The train ceased operation in the early 1970s. Cast aluminium, 102x44cm front and back repainted a long time ago, but showing much evidence of use including an indentation on the front caused by impact from an object such as a piece of ballast on one of its journeys £1500, BR(M) dr poster: 'Dublin-Travel there in comfort by Rail and Sea.' (Kerry Lee 1954), the last of the series to be issued and the least common of the set, folded, otherwise vgc £75, Webb & Thompson staff with the section names 'Ardrahan-Craughwell' embossed on brass plates riveted to the steel shaft. 58cm long, the brass rings around the central steel column are approx 6cm diameter. Repainted to vgc in black, brass rings polished £50, Aluminium Tyers No. 6 Tablet 'Ballymoney-Coleraine 14' The section names have been re-engraved following extension of the section, good ex-section condition £40, Webb & Thompson single line staff 'Long Pavement-Ballycar' steel column with four rings, the section names which have superseded earlier use engraved onto a brass sheath at one end, 23cm long in good ex-section condition £40, GNRI original gold leaf coa mounted on a varnished plain wooden board, the company name shown in garter around the arms of the counties the railway served, 33x42 cm (board size) in gc, £ns, Irish railways, three metal signalbox level description plates: '5 To Wash Bank or Up Main 11 or Nil', '24 To Wash Bank or Up Main 23 or Nill (sic)', '20 To Down Main or Up Main 18 or Nill (sic)', all painted red with white lettering, thought to be from an Irish location, appear ex-box condition (3) £30.

The remains of a homing pigeon basket with a GNRI plate from Enniskillen £ns was reoffered in June at and optimistic £190.

The GWRA auction on 22/5 had: Great Northern Railway (Ireland)! 3 aspect Signalman's Handlamp brass plated 'Thurles8'. Complete with original reservoir clearly stamped GNRI and burner. The lamp body is also stamped 'Thurles8' and the reducing cone is stamped 'CIE' indicating a later addition, ex. condition £350, headboard The Shamrock, used between 1954 until 1966 on locomotives that hauled the London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street boat train service with connections to the Coast Lines ferry services from Pier Head to Belfast and Dublin. As well as Princess Royals, Royal Scots and later class 40's, the prototype Deltic hauled this train on many occasions £ns, res £800, GSWR ground signal mechanism of substantial proportions (and weight). The counter-balance is cast with the company initials and the entire mechanism appears to be in full working order, complete with original c/i lamp with fitted signal arm plates to show when rotated and a later interior £110.

SRA on 11 September has Lot 72 'GNR(I) Notice trespassers on the line will be prosecuted.' 20x14 cm with rounded corners, the front almost devoid of paint, the back in original condition, but with paint 'runs' evident, Lot 159 LMS qr stock poster: Ireland by LMS - the Royal Mail Route (Ref AD943) (Unsigned), issued in 1935, this poster would have carried the timetable for sailings across the Irish Sea, a rarely seen variant, folded, small edge tears, good otherwise.
