There was an online 'Stop the Drop' auction from 31 January to 14 February with many Irish items. I should have been involved at the very reasonable prices for DNGR, but once having owned both the DNGR gate, the trespass and a low bridge at the same time, I once had almost a full set. Now I only have the DNGR No. 2 bridge number. In the past having had at one stage the two iconic LNWR like signs (Trespass and gate), which I would guess, unfortunately, post me, I would guess might have been been not only stolen but even worse probably have been melted down for their marginal scrap value. Thus rebuying seem to be a pretty stupid idea, particularly where security might be lacking. Auction items (starting price, end price, and going price, where I recorded them were): BCDR coa £120-50, CDRJC coa £120-50, DNGR coa £120-50, sold £120, GSR coa £120-50, sold £50, SLNCR cast iron gate notice £320-180, sold £320, MRNCC cast iron trespass £120-50, sold £50, GNRI cast iron 45x14 cm trespass £not noted, GNRI curved poster headboard £390-250, sold £390, DNGR cast iron gate notice £350-175, sold £350, DNGR cast iron boundary plate (damage at corner) £150-80, sold £150, GNRI??(probably BCDR) enamel 'Do not spit...' £180-110, sold £180, GNRI brass worksplate Dundalk 1927 £150-80, sold £80, GNRI nameplate Lough Swilly sold £4000.
